Inspired by movie sets from the 1940’s, Steven Rudin’s black and white collage scenes are mysterious yet slightly familiar. In these works, Rudin explores whether the absence of colors is the effect of a subtraction or an addition, removing a layer or adding a filter A visual artist and psychiatrist, Rudin is interested in the impact of media on our memories and identities.
