The Directed Art Modern Gallery will present a group exhibition “When Line Meets Memory" featuring 5 Large Format Collages by Steven Rudin along with works by Matt Neuman and Tomas Valdivieso.

A playful conversation between high art, popular culture, and psychology, Steven Rudin's vibrant collages are immersive experiences filled with opportunities for discovery. Rudin transforms snippets from catalogs, magazines, and his personal photo album into theatrical, multifaceted scenes that emphasize optimism and nostalgia. Inspired by his knowledge and experience as a psychiatrist and visual artist, he uses collage to illustrate how our internal narratives are influenced by the ever changing arrangement of parts in relation to each other.
